Harvey Becker – Vice President of Finance and Administration

As Vice President for Finance & Administration at talk3, Harvey Becker is using all of the skills he has assembled in a career that has taken several forms. Trained as a lawyer, he worked as a real estate attorney for a small New York City firm for two years before heading out to Hollywood to chase his dream and fortune. Toiling for seven years in the entertainment industry, he found neither despite racking up some credits including one as a head writer/show runner on a Nickelodeon network program. Finally, after picking up an MBA, the package was complete. With legal knowledge and experience, creative talents and finance and business training, he had everything that growing, entrepreneurial companies need to thrive (but don’t want to pay multiple salaries).

Becker has served as Vice President of Finance & Administration at Andrew Solt Productions/Sofa Entertainment, as Vice President, Business Development at Time-Life Video and Time-Life Music and as Chief Operating Officer at Digital Kitchen. He has been Vice President for Finance & Administration at talk3 since early 2011.

Becker holds an MBA from the Anderson School at UCLA, a JD from the Boston University Law School and a BA from the University of Pennsylvania.
